Don’t forget to pick up your Giants Pride Rally Towels, courtesy of Pepsi, as you enter the stadium on Thursday! Guest services will be at each gate handing out towels to all fans entering MetLife Stadium.

In the two games against the Eagles last year, Eli Manning attempted 104 passes completing 72 for 800 yards. All three statistics are Giants records for a single season against one opponent. All three were also high totals for any quarterback against any team in 2017. The 15-year quarterback will look for the same type of success Thursday night against the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles in the first leg of the season series.

·         Odell Beckham Jr.’s 100-yard game in Carolina was his third of the season and the 22nd of his career, tying Amani Toomer’s franchise record. Beckham was the first Giants player with a touchdown reception and a touchdown pass in the same game since Frank Gifford on November 22, 1959. Gifford had a 33-yard touchdown reception on a pass from Charlie Conerly and threw a 37-yard scoring pass to Alex Webster against the Chicago Cardinals in Minneapolis.

·         Beckham was the fourth player in NFL history to have at least 100 receiving yards and a 50+ yard touchdown pass in the same game, joining New England’s (and former Giant) David Patten (October 21, 2001 at Indianapolis), Pittsburgh’s Tom Tracy (December 13, 1958 vs. the Chicago Cardinals) and Philadelphia’s Billy Ray Barnes (November 16, 1958 vs. Chicago Cardinals). Beckham and Patten are the only players to accomplish the feat with a touchdown catch. Beckham was the first Giants player with a reception, pass attempt, punt return and kickoff return in the same game since Toomer showed the same versatility on September 21, 1998 vs. Dallas.

·         With 29 more return yards in Week 5, cornerback Janoris Jenkins has 447 career interception return yards, second-most in the NFL since he was drafted by the Rams in 2012. Current Rams cornerback Marcus Peters, who was drafted by Kansas City in 2015, leads with 530.

·         The Giants-Eagles rivalry, which began in 1933 and spans 166 regular-season games, has a point differential of just 56 -- in the Giants’ favor. Big Blue narrowly leads the all-time series, 83-81-2. They are tied 2-2 in the postseason.

·         Last season, the NFC East became the only division with four Super Bowl winners. The Eagles captured their first in 2017, bringing the division’s total up to an NFL-high 13 (Cowboys: five, Giants: four, Redskins: three).

·         With 129 yards, Saquon Barkley became the third player in NFL history to begin a career with at least five consecutive games of 100 or more scrimmage yards. The others are Adrian Peterson (five) and Kareem Hunt (seven).

·         Giants coach Pat Shurmur’s NFL coaching career began in Philadelphia, where he was an Eagles assistant for 10 seasons under Andy Reid (1999-2008). Shurmur later did a second stint of three more seasons as the offensive coordinator of the Eagles before joining the Vikings.

Crucial Catch

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  As part of the Giants Crucial Catch efforts, members of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority will be in the parking lots before the game to distribute Giants Crucial Catch Koozies in exchange for donations.  All funds raised will be donated to The American Cancer Society, ZTA, Breast Cancer Research Fund and the Betty Torricelli Institute for Breast Care at Hackensack University Medical Center.

The Giants will also honor breast cancer survivors during the pre-game ceremony, inviting them to join us on the field to hold the flag during the National Anthem.  The survivors will be joined by international award-winning recording artist and American Cancer Society global ambassador Normani, and her mother Julianne, a breast cancer survivor.

The Giants, NFL and the American Cancer Society encourage you to take a look at The Defender, a new online tool that provides tips on how to reduce your risk of cancer.

 Throwback Uniforms

For the third straight season, the Giants will break out their alternate uniforms. It will be the second time fans at MetLife Stadium get to see the all-white uniforms and throwback ‘GIANTS’ helmet.
